Job Title: Fabricator

Location: Glasgow

Onestop Safety Solutions design, manufacture and install bespoke work at height safety solutions and fall protection systems to the construction industry in the UK. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a skilled Fabricator to join our Mansafe Division.

As a Fabricator at Onestop Safety Solutions, you will be responsible for prefabricating and installing ladders and walkway systems in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ladder and walkway system components and their installation procedures, however the role does not involve fabricating the individual components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing prefabricated ladders and walkway systems in accordance with safety standards and project/design specifications.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine the most suitable installation methods.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate installations.
  • Ensure the quality and functionality of all installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues.
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the fabrication and installation of ladder and walkway systems.
  • Knowledge of ladder and walkway system components and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safety and quality.
  • Aluminium welding skills are an advantage but not essential.
  • Valid driver’s licence (essential).
